Kelly Hackett is the founder and lead formulator at Lab Monkey, a contract manufacturer building custom dietary supplements and functional wellness products for emerging brands.
With more than 8 years in regulated manufacturing and a BBA in Food Business Management from the Culinary Institute of America, Kelly leads formulation across powders, tinctures, sublingual strips, shots, gummies, and pressed tablets. His work spans hemp-derived products, science-backed wellness formulas with vitamins and functional mushroom extracts, and bespoke formulations built around adaptogens, nootropics, and other targeted ingredients.
Before Lab Monkey, Kelly scaled a supplement production line to 250,000+ units per day and stayed through the company's IPO, then spent several years working independently as a formulator for regulated CPG brands. That operational experience is also what led him to co-found BatchBuddy, the compliance operating system that runs Lab Monkey's production floor every day, and LabelBuddy, the FDA-compliant label generator built for the same brands Lab Monkey manufactures for.
